Microbubble Technology
Microbubble technology has been developed worldwide for more than 30 years and is widely used in a variety of agricultural and industrial sectors such as wastewater treatment, semiconductor cleaning, agriculture, aquaculture, animal husbandry and commerce. Previous studies have shown that the use of microbubbles instead of conventional fine air bubbles can improve material transfer and gas utilisation efficiency.
The size of the cavities formed by gas bubbles in liquids, particularly water, greatly influences their use in chemical reactions, fermentation techniques, drug delivery, immunotherapy, ultrasound imaging, bubble columns, mineral separation and contaminant removal in water and wastewater treatment.
Microbubble technology uses extreme pressure to compress bubbles to a diameter of less than 0.1mm (10-4-10-6mm). This technology rapidly breaks down the gas into small bubbles and dissolves them in the water. Air, nitrogen or other high molecular weight gases are trapped inside the bubbles, which are then released to create a large number of microbubbles to achieve the desired effect in the system.
In the liquid, the internal rupture of microbubbles generates strong mechanical force, oxidation reduction potential and cell lysis, which makes them have the ability to clean, remove bacteria and oil.
